Up until the mid-1970s, Robert and Pauline Webb (far right and front, centre) gave much of their lives caring for, and helping to educate, hundreds of young Indigenous children and teenagers who came under their care as managers of the Moorgunya Hostel in Port Hedland.

Last December, Newcrest assisted the Webbs return to the town for a 30-year reunion with many of their friends and former students (shown at bottom, and in inset photo).
